Points: Our points system is the standard for most organizations

3rd 50
4th 40
5th 30
6th 20
7th 20
DNP (Did Not Place) 10

Event Types and classifications:

 SQ is a State Qualifier every team must play in State Qualifier to play in the State Event

A NIT is a Double Point Event

Regional Qualifiers and State Tournaments are Triple Point Events

Double Point Weekends

The following weeks every event is a double point event

1/4- 1/11  2/15-2/22   3/8-3/15   4/12-4/19  5/10-5/17  6/7-6/14

7/5-7/12 8/9-8/16   9/6-9/13  10/4-10/11   11/8-11/15   12/6-12/13

Event Seeding: FASA will seed their events by points.

Our Regional Qualifiers, State, National, and World Series Events are seeded by FASA points ratings if  points are tied then our system does a random draw with the tied teams. Most weekend Events are blind draw.

 Team Classification A, B, C, or C-REC:

Teams are classified as either "A", "B", "C", or "C-REC"!
Class C Teams are teams that have a winning percent of less than 50% and a run differential of less than 10 runs.
Class B teams are teams that have a winning percentage between 49% and 76% and a run differential of greater than 9 runs.
Class A teams are teams that have a winning percent greater than 74% and a run differential of greater than 9 runs.


How to qualify for the World Series or National:

FASA  is participation oriented to Qualify for the World Series or National all you have to do is participate in  1 State qualifier and your local State Tournament.
Another way to qualify is to place top 2 in an NIT or participate in a triple point Regional Qualifier
