| State of Texas Guidelines: CDC/State Guidelines - https://www dshs state tx us/coronavirus/opentexas aspx#protocols Mask are highly recommended when distancing is not possible Sanitizer is recommended for each player and coach to have with them at all times No handshakes between players coaches or umpires at any point during or after the games Players will not be allowed to accompany coaches for coin flips Players cannot leave their dugouts if they are not taking defense not on deck or at bat Players cannot run out to home plate after an infield or out of the park homerun Due to COVID distancing recommendations ring ceremonies will not take place after the Championship games however each team can stay as long as needed and present them to their players themselves Site Directors will hand over rings and team awards when Championship game is completed Teams must not arrive to their field any earlier than 15 minutes prior to their game times Teams cannot sit in the bleachers and watch games that they are not participating in or gather at the bleachers Please wait along the fence for your game to start Once your game is completed please exit the field area Post-game huddles need to be away from the fields Features & Format: 4 Game Guarantee 2 Day Tournament (All teams will play both days) 4GG (2 pool 2 bracket) Pay at the Plate: $35 Pool $40 Bracket 10U-18U Pool - 55 Min Bracket 65 Min Championship will be 75 Min Coin flip for all Pool Games Coach with winning flip decides Home/Visitor Higher Seed is home team in Bracket Games Undefeated team is Home in Ship Teams must be by their field no later than 15 minutes before scheduled game time Teams will be called to play as early as 15 minutes prior to game time when games end early Please have lineups and a Coach ready for coin flips prior to all games when called by umpires Youngblood Park Daily Gate Fee: $10 Daily Parking $15 Weekend Pass ($7 Daily if only one person in vehicle) Concessions will also be made available Exception: 1 TEAM COOLER allowed for Water/Gatorade Tournament Director reserves the right to change format if necessary for rainouts delays team participation/drops FASA Softball Rules govern all games FASA Rings (13 max per team) and Team Banners for 1st and 2nd Place Games start as early as 8am Saturday No If Game winner take all in Ship 8U 10U 12U Run rule - 15 12 8 after 3 4 5 Tournament Director - Chance Bacon 254-640-4300 RV Parking/Overnight Parking is allowed at the Park - Please call 254-640-4300 No Noise Makers (No Drumming) Allowed in the Park Absolutely no drumming with objects or banging of any kind in the Dugouts Coaches parents spectators and players must display professional behavior and sportsmanship at all times Coaches must appeal to our umpire staff appropriately during the game to question or clarify a call or a rule Any coach parent spectator or player that we feel is abusive verbally or threatening to our staff umpires or coaches will be immediately removed from our park and banned for the entire season along with their child Coaches are also fully responsible for controlling their parents spectators and coaching staff Warnings will not be necessary with abusive behavior or foul language and the tournament director or umpires reserve the right to remove anyone they feel is demonstrating this type of behavior We are taking a zero-tolerance approach going into the 2020 Summer/Fall season with coaches parents spectators and players and will not hesitate to act on this to preserve order and maintain a healthy playing environment for our kids | |||||||||||||||
