| UPDATE: Sunday Only tournament at Traction in Baton Rouge - Turf fields, so no metal cleats or sunflower seeds ----------------------------------------------------------- Traction Sports Complex - 1430 Gardere Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70820 GATE FEES: Adults $10 Kids (7-16) $5- Kids 6 & Under FREE) - PLAYERS & UP TO 3 COACHES ARE FREE Southeast Louisiana Fastpitch Tournament Information FORMAT: 2 DAY TOURNAMENT - 1 Pool Game & Double Elimination Tournament Bracket * TEAM ENTRY FEE: NO TEAM ENTRY FEE - FREE FOR TEAMS REGISTERED 1 MONTH PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT START DATE - LATE REGISRATION (WITHIN 1 MONTH PRIOR) IS $150 UMPIRE FEES: $40. Per game, Pool & Bracket - IF Games are $20. FASA Rules on playfasa.com & selafastpitch.com Rule Clarifications & Modifications: Pool Games: Pool game matchups are pre-determined Pool games are 60 minutes, finish the batter Pool games are practice, do NOT determine bracket seeding Pool games can end in a tie Run Rule: 3 Runs per 1/2 inning in pool play (or # runs as agreed by coaches) Umpires must collect line-ups for all games Umpire Fees - $40 per team, per game Bracket Games: Bracket game matchups are seeded by FASA points Bracket games are 70 minutes, finish the inning - up to 7 innings Bracket games cannot end in a tie - International tiebreaker rule applies Run Rule: 8 Runs after 3 Innings in bracket play Umpires must collect line-ups for all games Umpire Fees - $40 per team, per game IF Necessary Games are 1 open inning, or until a winner is declared - home team is determined by a coin flip ALL GAMES (Pool & Bracket): Home/Away determined by a coin flip, winner chooses, except for the championship game, where the undefeated team is home Teams have 5 pitches or 1 minute after the last out is recorded to warm up The Home team is responsible for providing the official scorekeeper(s) Umpires will collect line-ups for all games (Pool & Bracket Games) Teams must be prepared to play up to 30 minutes prior to scheduled game times to avoid forfeiture of game Tournament Format Changes (due to weather): Game time limits & number of pool games are subject to change when necessary (due to weather etc.) Team Entry Fees will be adjusted if original number of guaranteed games must be reduced due to weather.
No Ice Chests - Outside food/drinks are not allowed in park - Concessions will be available SMOKING (INCLUDING VAPOR) IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY & OUTSIDE OF THE PARK We will follow all local, state and federal guidelines and use common sense in practicing social distancing | |||||||||||||||
