XLR8 COLLEGE SHOWCASE Tournament Rules / Notes
XLR8 Softball College Coaches Camp Friday May 23,2025.Approximate start time 5;30.pm, ages 8th grade through JUCO. $100.00 per player, Hitting with College Coahes, then split up into teams and play controlled games. College Coaches will be coaching bases and observing games. All players registering and paying for this camp goes through Greg Eschette (985)209-2487. 72 players max for this camp.

XLR8 Softball Showcase:

* TEAM ENTRY FEE $350.00 All team entery fees and registering for XLR8 Softball Showcase goes through Greg Eschette. (985)209-2487. Only excepting 10 16U teams,10 18U teams, 10 12U teams & 10 14U teams. 14u team entry fees is $150.00.

ALL TEAMS MUST BE REGISTER WITH FASA .

* 3 ROUND ROBIN GAMES GUARANTEE Saturday May 24, 2025 only, no games Sunday unless a total rain out on Saturday.75 MIN FINISH THE INNING, GAMES CAN FINISH IN A TIE, PAP $45

* $10.00 GATE FEE, 5 AND UNDER FREE.

  1. NO Line cards are need before the start of the game.
  2. College base running rules will apply
  3. Teams need to be ready to start play up to 30 mins early. We will start early if possible.
  4. Flip of coin will determine home team. Clock will start at first warm up pitch.
  5. Round Robin games will be 75 min. finish the inning or 5 Inning. Official Start & Finish TIME will be

kept by HOME Plate umpire. 5 Runs or 3 outs per HALF inning

  1. Free substitution is encouraged during play. You may BAT out of line at any time.
  2. No infield practice will be allowed on the field prior to the game.
  3. Batting cages are available.
  4. All teams will be required to furnish all the protective equipment and two each (2) like new

approved STAMPED softballs--COR of .47 & 375 COMP.

  1. Teams should clean out dugout after each game.
  2. Alcohol or illegal substances will not be permitted anywhere on the premises.
  3. The tournament director reserves the right to reschedule or delay the starting times of

games, should conditions warrant.

  1. Tournament Directors, FASA assume no liability for any claims for injury or accident / COVD-19 to any

player, spectator, umpire, or coaches during the tournament.

  1. Area behind each BACK STOP & BREEZE WAY ABOVE THE CONCESSION for COLLEGE COACHES ONLY. Please pass this

onto your parents to keep this area open so College Coaches can watch your players. If your parents are

in this area the coaches will move to another field.

  1. ALL Approved bats most have the ASA/USA 2000 /2004 Stamp and not on the band list for NHSFA Rule
